Returns and Exchanges

the Shabby and Chic Returns Policy

We really hope you are delighted with the items in your order but we do understand there may be occasions when your order arrives damaged or you simply want to return something.

Damaged Items

If any part of your order arrives damaged please contact us within 2 working day by sending an email to; shop@theshabbyandchic.com together with photos of the damage and your order number.   We will cover the cost of the return postage, and either replace the damaged item or refund you.  

Returning Items 

If you would simply like to return your order for a refund please contact us by emailing; shop@theshabbyandchic.com.  You must do this within 14 days of receiving your order.  We do want you to be happy with your order so we still might be able to help if it has gone over the 14 days. 

Please note, that it is your responsibility to return items to us and you are responsible for the costs associated with this.  Please ensure all items are wrapped securely and we recommend that you use an insured registered delivery service and keep the proof of posting receipt as we are not responsible for return parcels that get damaged or fail to reach us.   You’ll also need to include the receipt or proof of purchase or order number.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging so that it can be sold again. 

Refunds 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items (unless damaged) or gift cards.
